AGORANTIC is the leading structure in France for culture and the digital industry, and enables researchers to provide a greater understanding of cultural and national heritage implementations for innovative digital tools. LIA : the Avignon IT Laboratory

The Laboratory’s activities are organized around three main themes: Language, Networks and Operational Research.

Language :
Activities in the fields of automatic language processing, Man-machine dialog, Vocal interactions

Operational Research and optimization :
Application of OR methods and algorithms to the optimization of resources in various contexts, including networks and the automatic processing of written and oral natural language.

Networks :
Application of work carried out on network architectures and protocols to develop security and cellular phone systems.

FRENCH CULTURE TECH

French Tech :

For “French Tech”, its role is to encourage the emergence of innovative start-ups. It reinforces cohesion among different local players who will associate to help these young companies to develop, thus generating economic value and employment.


The Bridge :

The Bridge is the European acceleration and development platform of innovative digital solutions around events, cultural content, tourism and mobility.

Based on 9 festivals in the Provence region (Vaucluse, Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône) which are European leaders in their artistic fields and attract 2 million spectators every summer, The Bridge welcomes startups of the digital economy on two innovative projects.

A unique thematic accelerator in Europe, dedicated to new digital applications for Culture, cultural content, cultural events, tourism and mobility, welcoming startups for sessions of two months of intensive acceleration. It accompanies the seed stage projects for their prototyping and analysis of their business model. It accompanies their first funding from private investors and BPI France. It is part of an international network of 14 single accelerators in San Francisco, Berlin, London, Paris, Abidjan, Bangalore, Tel Aviv, … allowing deployment and accelerated global test solutions.
