Mobyland launches new leisure activities at La Riaille Lake in Apt

Publié le 18 June 2020

On the request of Apt City Council and the Pays d’Apt Luberon Community of communes (CCPAL), Vaucluse Provence Attractivité reached out to various prospective investors and developers of In & Outdoor Leisure activities, in order to expand the offering at the Riaille artificial lake in Apt.

Develop the Riaille watersports centre

The Agency identified Mobyland, a company headed up by Stéphane Serna specialising in the design and distribution of inflatable products and structures. The company is already experienced in developing attractions at similar water parks on behalf of local authorities.
After getting in contact, having discussions with CCPAL and responding to a call for proposals, Mobyland was selected to develop the Riaille watersports centre over the next three years.

So from the beginning of July and for the entire summer season, a floating obstacle course (Mobybase), complemented by a beach obstacle course with pedalos and paddle boards, will be available for families, visitors and tourists to enjoy.

In addition, the Agency is providing support for Mobyland’s relocation of its head office and activities to the Vaucluse. It is also providing Mobyland with financial engineering expertise. All told, the company’s projects will create 13 jobs, with a total investment of €475,000.

At last we have found an organisation that can help make our plans a reality! Working in partnership with VPA has enabled us to make our leisure centre project in Apt a reality and to move forward with our other larger scale projects at a faster pace.
